Death of Ed Shaw - Sept 6, 2020
Ernie Lewis:
It saddens me to hear of Ed's recent passing. I've always thought of Ed as a decent and fun loving guy. It is hard for me to envision him without a smile on his face. My prayers go out to his family and love ones. May the peace of God comfort them during this time of bereavement.
Gayla Kalp:
I am so sad. I knew Ed FOREVER. He used to hang out at my house even when he became an adult. I knew his parents very well and they would be happy that he is out of pain yet sad that such a gentle soul is lost to us. Whenever we had a serious talk (as serious as it could be between us), I could see a troubled soul, yet he struggled to find himself and be happy. I am so glad he has found peace now. Let's lift our spirits and happy thoughts to him today in his honor.
Barry Faulkner:
Another good guy will be missed
Linda Murray:
Oh my...such a sad loss for all. I think of him with great fondness.
Dee Dee Davison:
Sad news.
Dan Thaxton:
Thank you for the information
Donna Foster:
Thanks so much for this information. Although I've not been able to attend many of the reunion events of our class, I really appreciate the efforts put forward to keep us in touch with one another. My husband, Jon, had a long and grueling battle with cancer. He lost that battle in January.
Ronn Calvert:
Sad to hear about Ed. But if he was suffering maybe it is a blessing.
Gilberto Pinon:
Sorry to hear the new's on Ed... But at lease now, he is at Peace... Good of you to be able to be there for Ed, Nancy
Dawn Anderson:
Ohhh Nancy.... terrible news!! Thank you so much for being there for him and his family.....I’m so sorry
Jerry Pagnusat:
He was my good buddy in High School. Smart and kind.
Rest in Peace.

What can I say?? Every Reunion I always say is incredible, but THIS one was FABULOUS!! Everyone looked great and were just as sweet and funny as they were 50 years ago! I looked across the room and didn't feel like I was in a Restaurant. I felt like I was in the Senior patio at lunchtime. I laughed and hugged all night! What a memory! Thank you all for everything you did to make this magical weekend happen

My reunion started on Thursday when I picked up Barry Faulkner after he flew into San Francisco airport and met up with Gary Turner. Judy and I did a road trip with Barry and ended up at River Ridge. Friday night was a good start, met up for a mini reunion. It was nice to see those who could not make the Saturday event. Cheryl Wolff, Eddie Montenez and Nancy DePue. Saturday: We all cleaned up and had a great time reconnecting. And then we finished up with a brunch on Sunday. Wow what a weekend.

Cathy Duke-Wright about Reunion - Oct 2015 I am so glad you have had such a good response. I really wish I lived closer – such a big event – 50 years!!! Where did the time go??? It is doubtful I will be able to make it…I will be there in spirit – dancing my fool self right along with you all……can’t wait to see all the pics and hear all the stories. If by some miracle, I find myself in Oxnard, I’ll just have to pop in and have a dance!!!!

Sure sorry that we could not make it, family yearly camping trip that weekend. Looking at the pictures I had trouble thinking I might have aged so gracefully as you all have. How about a 50 and one half reunion??? I really enjoyed looking at the reunion photos. Married 45 years in Nov. What a life, its been wonderful.

I'd sure like to keep this up, even though I''m far away. Shall we do another in 5 yrs? We'd better start organizing now because I find it gets more difficult to plan as time goes on. Anyone agree on that note? How many of us will make it to that one? Well, I know Ronnie will, LOL

Such a fine effort for the people who were generous enough to make this happen. The pictures, videos, and recordings cause reflection, but the unique enjoyment of seeing those we grew up with after so many years is a fine thing. Sorry to have missed the party.
